WIFEY | KEEPING A HAPPY MARRIAGE
WIFEY | KEEPING A HAPPY MARRIAGE
A happy marriage is the most important aspect in our life. It is what builds the foundation between you and your husband and also so important for your children. Without a strong and unbreakable connection between you and your husband, the rest of the family life may well suffer.
We all lead busy lives and sometimes we can forget what is really important. We need to remind each other of what is really important.
Here are a few ideas that you and your husband can do to increase your closeness and connection.
1. Sleep at the same time
Try and go to bed at the same time, like what you did when you first married.
2. Share interests
Make sure you still do things together, things you both enjoy to do.
3. Hold hands when walking/driving or walk close side-by-side
It keeps physical contact between the two of you
4. Trust each other and forgive
If after any disagreement, try and talk it out and end with forgiveness. Its also good to forgive.
5. Focus of what you both do that is right
To be happy you need to accentuate all positive traits. Leave out the negative
6. Hug (always)
Our skin has a memory of "good touch" (loved), "bad touch" (abused) and "no touch" (neglected). Couples who say hello with a hug keep their skin bathed in the "good touch", which can inoculate your spirit against anonimity in the world.
7. Say "I Love You" and "Have a good day" every morning
Its a great way to buy some patience and tolerance as each of you sets out each day.
8. Say "Good Night" every night, no matter how you feel
Show each other you care about each other more than anything. Dont go to sleep if you are upset with one another.
9. Stay in contact during the day
A phone call or messages during th day. Show each other you are thinking of them
10. Always be proud of your husband/wife
Try and always be in contact in some form. When away from each other, use phone, email etc. And when together, hold hands.
Try and do the things you used to do when you first got married. To keep the beautiful spark between you and your husband. Afterall, you both love each other, and are made for one another. So dont forget to show it each other all the time.
